I’m not a big fan of policies, procedures, rules and bureaucracy. I understand that in some cases they are necessary, but, truthfully, I’m on the employee experience side of HR. How do we make people feel? Is this a place they want to work? How can we engage them in positive behaviour, rather than only look at the laws that protect the business?  I came to HR quite late in my career...
